After the back to back success of Samsung Galaxy S3 and Note II, the south-korean technology giants will be launching the next in line of the Galaxy S series. The digital consumers are waiting after Galaxy S4, after the huge success of the Galaxy S3. Galaxy S3 gave tough competition to the new iPhone5, which failed to perform significantly against the Galaxy S3. This was proved by the Galaxy S3 sales going on even after the release of the iPhone5.
The specifications are still not confirmed yet but the new Galaxy S4 will have some of the following(rumored) specifications.
- Quad-core processing unit
- 2GB Ram
- 13 megapixel camera with ability to shot 1080p
- 2 megapixel front facing camera
- 5 inch super amoled display
- Li-Ion 2600 mAh battery
The Li-Ion 2600 mAh battery looks pretty small and may probably run for only one day when you are using a quad-core hand held device. The body of the smartphone styles the new polycarbonate packing. Polycarbonate is a premium material used to provide extra strength and durability, whilst not increasing the weight of the device. Unlike most thermoplastics, polycarbonate can undergo large plastic deformations without cracking or breaking.
