Who runs Gearaffiti
Hi, I’m Emam Hasan — an English teacher and the founder of Anirban Lexicon Center in Mirpur, Dhaka. I run Gearaffiti to share clear, honest buying guides on scooters, skateboards, longboards, bikes and snow gear. Alongside teaching, I work in digital marketing and SEO, and I enjoy turning spec sheets and owner feedback into simple advice anyone can follow.
How we choose and review products
We research each product category before we recommend anything. That means comparing manufacturer specifications (weight limits, range, motor power, deck size, materials), reading a large number of verified owner reviews, and checking for recurring complaints such as poor build quality or weak customer support.
We do not physically test every product we write about. When a guide is based on research rather than hands-on use, we write it that way, and we never invent test results. We update older guides when products are discontinued or better options appear.
How Gearaffiti makes money
Gearaffiti is a participant in the Amazon Services LLC Associates Program. When you buy through some links on this site we may earn a small commission, at no extra cost to you. We also show display ads. Neither affects which products we recommend. You can read the full affiliate disclosure and disclaimer.
